Each year we make a limited number of luxury Christmas cakes. They are 'fully loaded', packed with fruit and Christmas spices and made with port, cherry brandy, brandy and dark rum. Each fruit based cake is matured for six weeks before Christmas so that on the day, they are perfect. That's why we ask customers to order by midnight on 4 November!

Some customers keep the cake going until nearly Easter! Once cut, it keeps very well in an airtight container.

All Christmas cakes can be collected from Wavendon between 20 and 23 December.
