Service Description
On this one day course you will learn the basics of creating delicious traditional Italian breads. Keith will start with an introduction to ingredients and share essential knowledge and tips on how to successfully make Italian bread in your own home kitchen. You will be introduced to mixing techniques and shown different approaches to developing the different doughs and make an amazing selection to take home. These include Focaccia, Ciabatta, Grissini alle olive e pecorino, Carta di Musica -‘Music Paper’ flat bread, Panini al Pomodoro and our Rosemary and Parmesan loaf incorporating a predough I will prepare the night before. Lunch included. Things you will learn: All the basics you need to make any bread, focusing on Italian • How to work the dough successfully • How to shape the different breads • How to bake a variety of breads and biscuits • How to incorporate various flavours into savoury breads
